DACHSER is opening a warehouse in Pont d’Ain, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France.
With an area of 18,000 sq m, the warehouse has capacity for 21,000 pallets. It also meets current environmental standards by using photovoltaic panels on the roof and LEDs with presence detectors indoors and out.
According to DACHSER, the new location complements the company’s existing European road network for palletized freight groupage. The company is also strengthening its presence in the Rhône-Alpes region, where four DACHSER branches already offer integrated transport and logistics services. With the new warehouse, DACHSER hopes to drive forward its development in France and offer its customers a high level of quality.
