Correos Cargo, Correos’ parcel and merchandise air transport line, announced that it will also offer cargo charter flights as part of its services. With this new service, the company said it aims to help and promote the international expansion of Spanish companies, as well as the export of their products.

Correos added it continues to adapt its logistics capacity to offer solutions that respond to the increase in parcels related to the rise of e-commerce. The company also stated that it aims to be one of the leaders in the logistics axis America-Europe-Asia.

Correos Cargo project was launched together with Iberojet, the air division of Ávoris Corporación Empresarial, and will allocate Airbus A330 aircraft that will operate the Madrid – Hong Kong – Madrid route.

The Airbus A330 “Milana Bonita” aircraft, operated by Iberojet, has a cargo capacity of 50 tonnes. “Milana Bonita” was the first of the Correos cargo planes. It began its activity with two flights to Poland in which more than 40 tonnes of humanitarian aid were transported to supply NGO World Central Kitchen with cooking material to enable hot food preparation for the Ukrainian refugees fleeing the conflict which started in February 2022.
