CMA CGM expands services between northern Europe and India


CMA CGM has announced the launch of two new weekly services, EPIC 1 and EPIC 2, between the Persian Gulf, Pakistan, north-west India and northern Europe. The new services expand upon the company’s existing EPIC service.

EPIC 1 offers a direct connection between northern Europe and the western part of the Indian Subcontinent (Pakistan and India). This service will start the 26th of July with the first call of the CMA CGM Traviata in Port Qasim, and is served in partnership with UASC. The rotation will be as follows:

Mundra – King Abdullah – Gioia Tauro – Tanger – Southampton – Rotterdam –Antwerp – Felixstowe –Dunkirk – Le Havre – King Abdullah – Djibouti – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Hazira – Mundra.

Similarly, EPIC 2 offers a direct connection between northern Europe and the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and north-west India. This service will start on 24th of July, with the first call in Khor Fakkan, and is delivered in partnership with Hamburg Sud. The rotation will be as follows:

Mundra –Jeddah – Cagliari – Tanger –Hamburg –Antwerp – London – Tanger – Cagliari- Jeddah – Khor Fakkan – Jebel Ali – Port Qasim – Nhava Sheva – Mundra.

The operation of both services allows CMA CGM to increase its departure frequency between the Indian subcontinent and northern Europe, and to increase its ports coverage in India and the UK.
