Clipper Logistics has announced that it has signed a new contract with LoveCrafts, an e-commerce platform, specialising in products and accessories for the wool crafts market. The new 5-year deal renews an existing longstanding partnership and will see operations move from Clipper’s Worsley facility to their larger Selby site.
Clipper first began working with LoveCrafts in 2013. The Clipper team have helped to fine-tune their supply chain and logistics operations and used their expertise to help set out a strategic plan for the future of the business.
Tony Mannix, Chief Executive at Clipper said: “We’re thrilled to be continuing our work with LoveCrafts. We’re looking forward to further develop their logistics solutions and supporting the growth of the business from our Selby site, where they’ll benefit from increased warehouse space, improved layout, smarter WMS and voice picking, to ensure more efficient and effective working.”
Speaking about the new contract, Anne Bruggink, Chief Customer Operations Officer at LoveCrafts commented: “Clipper have been great in helping ensure we have an effective solution in place. To support the business’ further growth ambitions, operations will now be run from the Selby site, where the Clipper team will process inbound stock, pick for next day and standard delivery and process international returns, as well as holding over a million units of stock.
