Chronopost announces acquisition of ALP Group and its subsidiaries

Chronopost has acquired 100% of the capital of the ALP Group, which is made up of Delifresh, Freshlog and 360° services. The acquisition of ALP Group allows Chronopost to continue its expansion in the field of temperature-controlled transport. Each of the three Paris-based companies of the ALP Group specialises in a specific activity with high added value. With the acquisition of these three companies, Chronopost is laying the ground for their rapid growth.

 Delifresh, an expert in last-mile delivery of temperature-controlled food products in Île-de-France region, offers players in the sector on-demand transportation services to professional and private individual consignees.

Freshlog specialises in warehousing, refrigerated storage and order picking of food products.

360° services is an expert in urgent medical transportation, including medicines, blood products, stem cells and samples, grafts and organs, and hospital and infectious waste.

As Chronopost Chairman, Martin Piechowski explains: “The acquisition of ALP Group is part of our ongoing strategy of investment in specialised and high value-added transportation solutions.These companies will enable Chronopost to significantly enhance its products, services and expertise in the food and health markets, in which we already have a presence through our subsidiaries Chronopostfood and BioLogistic.”
