China Post Group and Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. (BAIC) have signed a strategic partnership framework agreement. According to the agreement, the companies will make full use of their respective core competitiveness, and carry out in-depth cooperation in market expansion, vehicle procurement and vehicle operation, financial sector, express and logistics, service system co-construction, integrated plant service, customer care and delivery service, to achieve mutual growth.
In market expansion, the two parties will cooperate in “micro auto shows” to boost the market expansion of BAIC. As for vehicle procurement, BAIC will fulfil the diverse needs of China Post for official vehicles, employees’ personal vehicles and vehicles used in production.
In terms of financial services, the two parties will deepen cooperation in eleven areas including wholesale business, investment banking services and financing services for auto dealers.
Regarding, delivery and logistics, the two parties will form an overall logistics partnership and will carry out business cooperation in supply side, production side and sales side of the automobile industry chain.
In the aspects of service system co-construction, plant service, delivery support and customer care, the two parties will jointly explore the construction of the service network system for new energy vehicles. They will integrate automobile culture with postal culture and jointly build “Beijing Auto Theme Post Office”. They will also strengthen communication and cooperation in aircraft delivery and build integrated online and offline brand promotion and customer retention system.
Built on the existing cooperation, this agreement will facilitate both parties to expand their strategic partnership, and will also help further develop their respective advantages, promoting mutual complementarity and mutual benefit. China Post will further integrate the resources of the whole network, continuously improve its service quality, and strive to provide BAIC with premium integrated services.
The strategic partnership with China Post will add fuel to the comprehensive improvement of BAIC in brands, products, technologies and service, and provide stronger support for building the all-round green, convenient and efficient travel ecosystem.
