C.H. Robinson has named Ivo Aris as Vice President of Europe Global Forwarding division. Aris has served as a Director of Europe Global Forwarding since joining the company in 2013.
Mike Short, president of Global Forwarding at C.H. Robinson, said, “In his new role, Ivo will bring strong leadership to the Global Forwarding division and focus on growing and advancing our business in Europe,” adding “He will continue to ensure that our team in Europe is working in alignment with our global network to support our customers.”
Ivo Aris said of his appointment, “While C.H. Robinson is relatively modest in size (in Europe), we are able to leverage our powerful market presence in the U.S. and on Trans-Pacific trade lanes when discussing rate levels with carriers,” Before adding, “Also, our very efficient gateways enable us to offer highly-competitive buying rates. We are excited about growth opportunities in this region, both with our customer base and with potential new customers.”
