Bolloré Logistics Mexico carries out wine import operations for the Beaujolais Nouveau

Bolloré Transport & Logistics and supply chain services company Czarnikow are collaborating to support Bolloré’s sustainable development in East Africa through the VIVE Sustainable Supply Programme.

Bolloré Logistics Mexico has carried out wine import operations for the Beaujolais Nouveau, a French tradition taking place every year on the third Thursday of November to celebrate the end of the annual grape harvest and the release of the first wine of the year.

Wines and spirits logistics player AMC, a brand of Bolloré Logistics since 2016, was involved in the air import of the “Grands Crus” wine types, including Château Petrus or Château Margaux, which according to the final customer is the most delicate part of its operations.

The goods didn’t leave France before October 31, 2019, date of the Beaujolais settlement, and needed to be distributed nationally in Mexico before the third Thursday of November, the annual date of the celebration of the Beaujolais Nouveau. The consignment, that consisted of 41 pallets with total volume of 48.74 cu m and weight of 26 tonnes, left the city of Romanèche-Thorins in France on October 28, 2019 directed to Roissy CDG airport. On November 1st, 2019 all the goods were embarked on a flight to Mexico to be delivered the day after.
