Agility has won a six-year warehousing and logistics contract with Sweden-based Amring, a wholesaler that sells and distributes tires, rims, complete wheels and related articles for passenger vehicles, trucks and commercial vehicles.

Following the award, Agility announced plans to expand its Gothenburg logistics centre from 8,350 sq m to 23,000 sq m. As part of the contract, it will provide warehouse services to Amring, as well as tailored, value-added services including mounting/assembling of wheels.

Agility will coordinate inbound and outbound transport for Amring, and will also provide the customer with supply chain assessment and consulting services.

“Agility brings sophisticated supply chain analysis and the creativity, flexibility, personal ownership, and timing we feel we need,” said Torbjörn Wilson, Managing Director of Amring.

Mats Nordin, Agility Managing Director Area Nordics, said, “Amring recognized the customer-focus and in-depth automotive knowledge Agility brings. We are committed to tailoring solutions that make Amring more nimble and efficient. We are looking forward to collaborating with the Amring team and to expanding our Gothenburg facility to accommodate their specialized warehousing and logistics needs.”
