Weiss-Röhlig opens new logistics terminal in Dubai


Weiss-Röhlig United Arab Emirates (UAE) has announced the opening of a new logistics facility in Jebel Ali Freezone South in Dubai. The $4.5m investment has been announced as a strategic milestone by the company to attract new and old clients.

The total area covered by the facility is 10,000 sq m which is planned to provide covered space for more than 8,000 pallets in ambient and temperature controlled storage compartments. The facility is expected to be a gateway for Far East and Europe. Besides freight forwarding and customs services, Weiss-Röhlig UAE has also announced plans to offer logistics and project services out of its new terminal.

Marcel Meyer, Managing Director Weiss-Röhlig UAE, said, “This logistics terminal is supporting the vision and the will to provide outstanding services around the world. As we say in Weiss-Röhlig: We are where you are.” The warehouse is located in the South district of Jebel Ali Freezone close to Gate 12.
