Yusen Logistics has announced it will relocate and expand its warehousing facilities in MM2100 Industrial Town, Jakarta, Indonesia, as it aims to strengthen its contract logistics business in the country.

Yusen currently has three warehouses in the industrial town. It plans to move warehouse no.3 elsewhere within the town and double the warehousing space of the facility to 11,000 sq m. The new site will go into operation in November 2017. Yusen says this will take its current warehousing area to approximately 45,000 sq m and make it the largest of any logistics provider in the industrial town.

Yusen has recently made structural changes to its Indonesian operations. It appointed a new joint president director to its three Indonesian subsidiaries and has centralised PT. Yusen Logistics Solutions Indonesia as a contact window for contract logistics business in the country.
