Alan is a Visiting Professor in Supply Chain and Logistics Management at Cranfield’s School of Management. He has been associated with the University since 1987, contributing to research and teaching. He was appointed Visiting Professor in 2006 and held the role of Interim Head of Supply Chain Research for eighteen months. Alan is also the Chairman of LCP Consulting, which he founded in 1985. In 30 years he has helped to take the company to be the leading independent consultancy in supply chain and logistics, working internationally and receiving world recognition in its specialisation.
