Rhenus has signed an agreement with Intertrans, a road transportation company, to offer freight services within the Greek market.
Intertrans has over 30 years’ experience in the market. It offers complete distribution coverage of Greece, including its islands, by utilising its agencies in Piareus, Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as its warehouses in Aspropyrgos and Thessaloniki.
This agreement will allow Rhenus has to carry out a regular service between France and Greece within guaranteed transit durations of 4-5 days, from international hubs in Paris and Lyon to Athens and Thessalonki.
Its fleet of over 50 trucks will offer a range of services for this new weekly export connection between France and Greece. Services will include groupage, with complete loads, as well as ADR merchandise, for the sectors of household appliances, cosmetics and perfumes, the chemical industry, textiles and leather or even for the vehicle industry.
