Pilot Freight Services announces changes to its senior leadership team

Pilot Freight Services (Pilot) has announced the promotion of Gordon Branov, who had worked for Pilot for 20 years, to Chief Executive Officer, and John Hill to President after 23 years with the company.

Richard Phillips, who has served as Chief Executive Officer for ten years, will move into the role of Chairman of the Board, and Lou Cortese, former President, will retire after more than 30 years of service. The changes will become effective July 1.

Richard Phillips commented: “We are very fortunate to have such a strong leadership team step up from within the company to raise Pilot to new heights. John and Gordon have been, and will continue to be, successful strategic partners in our organisation who ensure the needs of the market, customer, and our employees are paramount.
