VersaCold Logistics Services has announced the pending acquisition of Coastal Pacific Xpress Inc (CPX).
VersaCol Logistics is a Canadian logistics company with focus on handing temperature sensitive products. CPX is a temperature-controlled truckload and less-than-truckload carrier with a focus on shipping perishable products throughout Canada and the US.
The news of the acquisition by VersaCold comes one month after the company announced it had acquired another company, Gary Heer Transport and the launch of its newest subsidiary VersaCold North America Transportation Solutions Limited (VNATS).
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
