Carsten Dalbo, Head of Logistics & E-commerce, PostNord Denmark, said of the news, “Our purchase of G.P. Spedition’s operations means that we are now able to integrate a strong team of forwarders into our Danish organization. The know-how they bring will provide us with a stable foundation and speed up the development of our operations in the Danish pallet and freight markets and thereby strengthens our Nordic offering.”

The acquisition of G.P. Spedition’s operations is expected to strengthen PostNord’s total product portfolio with regard to heavy logistics for Denmark. PostNord is already active within freight in Sweden and Norway.
