Militzer & Munch has founded a country unit in Sri Lanka, locating its office near the Port of Colombo.
“At our location near the port, we will be handling a big part of our sea freight consolidation for ocean transports via the Indian Ocean and to Asia”, said Dilum Stembo, Managing Director M&M Militzer & Münch (Pvt) Ltd. “Our five-person team offers standard transports as well as comprehensive complete solutions for complex projects.”
The office will also manage transports to CIS countries. Expansion plans include adding door-to-door shipments to Europe and the USA.
While the company’s investment is its first office in Sri Lanka, it has actually had a presence in the market through agent representation since 2015.
