Logwin sets up first own office in Peru

Logwin has opened a new country organisation in Peru.

Its South America network now extends to five countries. The forwarder has been active in Brazil, Chile and Mexico for a number of years, while it set up in Colombia in 2015.

Logwin announced that Fernando Huerta would act as Country Manager for Peru, having served as Operations Manager for the company in Chile for a number of years.

A company press release stated, “Peru’s economy is stable and the country represents one of the consistently expanding markets in South America. The growth in infrastructure is leading to an increase in imports of capital goods in plant and mechanical engineering. At the same time, standards of living are improving in the Andean state, boosting the consumer goods industry. With its own office in Lima, Logwin can in future offer its global customers tailor-made, local solutions and services.”
