Carrefour and La Poste have announced a partnership to accelerate the development of home delivery services for food and non-food shopping.
After successful pilots in Paris and its suburbs, then in Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse and Montpellier, Carrefour and La Poste will deploy Carrefour Express Delivery in 10 new cities in 2018: Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Lille, Nancy, Nantes, Nice, Reims, Rennes and Strasbourg.
The 1-hour delivery service has been operated since its creation in 2016 by Stuart, a subsidiary of La Poste specializing in on-demand logistics.
Using Carrefour’s express delivery app, the customer draws up a shopping list, then chooses a delivery window (30 minutes). The delivery costs €4.90 across the board and has no minimum spend limit.
