Kuehne + Nagel and BMW have expanded their partnership in Europe and Asia. It has established two new distribution centres in Germany and Poland. In addition, K + N will provider dealer distribution from Beijing and Shanghai. Kuehne + Nagel how operates in 14 BMW facilities, with a consolidated presence in China.

With a size of 70,000 sq m, the regional distribution centre (RDC) in Kleinaitingen is one of the largest distribution centres Kuehne + Nagel manages for the BMW Group. It serves more than 300 dealers over Southern Germany and Western Austria. Kuehne + Nagel is responsible for physically receiving and handling incoming goods, storage, picking dealer’s orders, packaging, and shipping. An assortment of around 82,000 articles are stored, with around 23,000 daily outbound deliveries handled.
The site in Slubice, Poland covers 30,900 sq m, with room for expansion of up to 10,700 sq m. The warehouse replaces the existing RDC in Poland which had a size of 15,000 sq m. It serves 125 dealers in North-Eastern Germany and about 35 in Poland.
The RDC dealer distribution network from Beijing and Shanghai will provide daily spare parts deliveries to 340 dealers in North, Central and Eastern China.
