A supplier of intelligent lock and security solutions, Assa Abloy, has awarded a seven-year warehousing and distribution contract to Kuehne + Nagel in the UK.
The logistics provider will operate Assa Abloy’s national distribution centre in Wolverhampton, and will be responsible for the management of all transportation between the hub facility and the company’s UK manufacturing facility at Willenhall and Assa Abloy customers.
Core services will include the collection of finished goods from manufacturing sites, receipt of goods, pick, pack & dispatch operations as well as delivery to retail outlets and end users. Value added services will include re-packing & customer-specific product configurations.
