Goodman completes 430,000 sq ft logistics development in the East Midlands

Goodman Group has announced that its global operations have achieved carbon neutrality, four years ahead of its original 2025 target.

Goodman has announced the launch of Leicester Commercial Park – a new 40-acre logistics and warehouse development located in the heart of the East Midlands. With construction now complete, the development offers 430,000 sq ft of commercial and warehouse space, immediately available to let. The scheme comprises two units of 95,000 and 335,000 sq ft.

Leicester 95 offers 95,000 sq ft of warehouse space with a fully-fitted ground floor reception and first floor offices totalling 4,100 sq ft. The unit has a 12m clear internal height, 90 car parking spaces and a 50m yard depth.

Leicester 335 provides 335,000 sq ft of warehouse space, a fully-fitted ground floor reception and office space on the first and second floor totalling 11,500 sq ft. The unit has a 15m clear internal height, 270 car parking spaces and a 55m yard depth.

Speaking about the development, Goodman Development Director Nigel Dolan, said: “With strong market demand, the development is ideally placed to serve the needs of our customers and will provide much needed new logistics space in the East Midlands”.

Both units are the latest developments to be delivered through the Goodman UK Partnership (GUKP), the investment vehicle for all UK logistics assets developed and sourced by Goodman.
