Dimerco Express Group has opened a new office in Venlo, the Netherlands. Operations will start from November 1st, 2017, and other than its comprehensive service modes, this office will focus on the development of trucking and rail services. Venlo is a major logistics hotspot for the Netherlands because of its crucial geographical strength for rail, barge and road. As well as by road, Venlo’s business and trade parks are easily accessible by rail and by inland waterways. The rail and inland shipping terminals help to provide excellent transshipment facilities for containers, and these facilities will be extended even further when the new second rail terminal on Trade Port North is opened in the near future.
The new office in Venlo will support one of Dimerco’s major customers, aid a semiconductor company’s new development in Venlo and will strengthening Dimerco’s coverage of targeted industries, including apparel & textile, cross-border e-commerce, medical & health and consumer electronics. Important business parks, such as Trade Port West and Fresh Park Venlo are home to many international trading companies and Dimerco aims to be a supporting partner for international freight, contract logistics, cross-docking and European LTL/FTL distribution.
