C.H. Robinson expands warehouse space in Atlanta, US


C.H. Robinson has announced the opening of a new US warehouse in Atlanta, GA to meet increasing customer demands. The new space is due to increase the company’s usable warehouse space by more than 40%.

The new warehouse is planned to serve as a retail consolidation centre supporting C.H. Robinson’s freight consolidation program.

According to the announcement, this year also marks 50 years of C.H. Robinson’s presence in Atlanta, with the new warehouse serving as testament to C.H. Robinson’s continued commitment to and investment in the marketplace.

Al Zwach, C.H. Robinson’s director of North American Surface Transportation, said of the announcement, “We are very excited about the new warehouse space and the ability it gives us to continue meeting our customers’ diverse needs here in Atlanta and around the globe, through 2016 and beyond.”

Greg West, vice president of less than truckload (LTL), C.H. Robinson, added, “C.H. Robinson is continuing to evolve and adapt with the changing marketplace.” West continued, “Investing in this new, expanded warehouse space is a perfect example of that.”
