C.H. Robinson acquires Canadian freight forwarder Milgram


C.H. Robinson has acquired Canadian logistics provider Milgram, a forwarder with annual revenues of C$155m (US$124m).

In addition to freight forwarding and customs brokerage, Milgram also provides surface transportation and warehousing services, to 3,500 customers. Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Milgram has approximately 330 employees, six offices in Canada and one office in the United States.

C.H. Robinson purchased Milgram for approximately C$62m (US$50m) in cash.

C.H. Robinson’s Global Forwarding business currently serves five continents and 31 countries, with over 4,000 employees and 125 offices worldwide, and claims to be the largest non-vessel operator (NVO) from China to the United States.
