Bolloré and Alibaba announce global partnership agreement


Bolloré Group and Alibaba Group signed an extensive Memorandum of Understanding concerning areas of their respective business units and subsidiaries, including Alibaba Cloud, Cainiao Smart Logistics Network, Bolloré Logistics and BlueSolutions. As part of the agreement, the two companies will cooperate and share their expertise and market. 

In cloud computing and innovation, Alibaba Cloud will provide a comprehensive suite of solutions to the Bolloré Group, encompassing cloud computing capabilities, big data, artificial intelligence, content delivery network and security solutions.
 
In  logistics, Bolloré Logistics and Cainiao Smart Logistics Network will work together to identify cooperation opportunities across logistics capabilities, hubs and networks in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe.
 
In smart and clean mobility, and clean energy, BlueSolutions and Alibaba Group will explore the opportunity to co-develop solutions for Internet electric car and buses and cooperation opportunities in the development of car-sharing solutions in China, in addition to the feasibility of implementing clean energy solutions, drawing on batteries and electricity storage technologies, at Alibaba’s data centres worldwide.

Finally, the two companies will share best practices and will look into the development of some joint software and data management solutions.
