DB Schenker launches weekly Hong Kong to US air cargo service


DB Schenker has announced that its jetcargo division is launching a weekly air cargo service linking Hong Kong to Chicago and Houston in the US. The service, run by a Boeing 747-8 F, is designed to cater for the oil and gas, automotive and industrial sectors.

With the addition of this service DB SCHENKER jetcargo is offering three air freight solutions with defined lead-times, no dimensional or weight restrictions, and end-to end online tracking. The transit time options offered are first class one to two day transit, business class with three to four day transit, or an economy option with arrival within six days.

“This new service offers maximum speed and reach with options to fit our customers’ schedules and budgets,” said Malcolm Heath, CEO Schenker Inc. “They will benefit from complete visibility and access to information when they need it: 24x7x365 days a year. We have a national permit covering all Remote Location Filing (RLF) ports nationwide with specially trained, licensed brokers across the country.”
