JF Hillebrand announced that it has added to its European warehousing network with the opening of a new facility located in Piacenza, northern Italy. The new warehouse, which is dedicated to the safe and secure storage of wines and beverages, underpins JF Hillebrand‘s position in the European logistics market.
Located approximately 5 km from Piacenza rail terminal, and close to all major highways, the warehouse allows for quick and efficient distribution of cargoes from Italy to destinations across Europe. Some 2,860 aq m in size, it includes a 570 sq m temperature controlled zone and a further 1,100 sq m insulated area.

JF Hillebrand continues to expand its intra-European services, which offer a range of continental door-to-door transport options including truck, intermodal and barge/ short-sea shipping.
