Loscam opens new depot in Thailand

Loscam, a pallet pooling service provider in Asia Pacific, has announced the opening of its new depot in Thailand. the depot is Loscam’s largest in South East Asia and the Loscam group’s second largest depot investment since China Merchants’ acquisition in 2010.

Loscam Wang Noi Super Depot is located at Wang Noi, in Ayutthaya Province, Thailand. It is accessible via express way and is double the size of the previous Wang Noi depot. The new depot is equipped with a number of facilities and machinery, including semi-automated pallet repair machine lines imported from the US. With increased capacity and enhanced operational efficiency, Wang Noi Super Depot is designed to continue to support and enhance Loscam’s service provision in the country and wider region.

Sirin Limpaitoon, Executive Vice President of Loscam South East Asia said, “Wang Noi Super Depot opening is an important milestone for Loscam and Loscam Thailand, allowing us to further fulfil our core value proposition – quality commitment to our customers and will strengthen Thailand’s key position in supporting supply chains within ASEAN”.

Having established its presence in Asia in 1993 and in Thailand in 1995, Loscam provides pooling solutions for returnable packaging equipment in six ASEAN markets. Sirin claimed, “We are the only pallet pooling service provider that is able to provide inter-country pallet pooling services across South East Asia & ASEAN, thus facilitating palletised movement of goods. This capability is extremely significant to international FMCG manufacturers and logistics companies in optimizing their supply chain efficiency, as they increasingly move raw materials and finished goods from Thailand to other countries, as a result of the AEC implementation.”
