CaroTrans, a global NVOCC and ocean freight consolidator, has announced further expansion of its Asia import network with a new multi-origin Japan to Miami, US, LCL service. As part of the service direct consolidations from five Japan origins — Kobe, Nagoya, Osaka, Tokyo and Yokohama to Miami occur each week.
From Miami CaroTrans will use its Latin American network connections to deliver a one-stop transportation solution for LCL freight moving to Caribbean and Central and South American destinations from Japan.
“Miami is our fifth direct, weekly service to the US from Japan further strengthening our network that includes services to Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Atlanta. It is an important connection for US clients in Florida and boosts our north-south service network. Our Miami branch is strategically positioned to facilitate Japan import cargo flows to Latin America,” said Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans.
