The Militzer & Münch Group (M&M) is expanding its operations in Maghreb. A cross-country Business Development Team Maghreb will be set up to match a rise in demand between the region and Europe.
M&M says that its road volumes between Germany and Morocco had doubled in the last two years. Between Germany and Tunisia, volumes had grown nearly threefold.
It currently deals with Maghreb exports from its location in Eichenzell in Germany, where they are unloaded and newly filled trailers sent back. M&M handles mostly groupage and part load transports door-to-door via road.
Dr Lothar Thoma, CEO of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG, said “The Maghreb states are one of the core markets for Militzer & Münch, which is why we want to further strengthen our market position there.”
