Kuehne + Nagel has signed a deal with Candy Group, a European leader in the household appliance and floor care market, to manage its supply chain for the next three years.
K+N has worked as integrated logistics partner for Candy Group for eight years, controlling operational activities from order issuance to final delivery across Europe, including Russia and Turkey. The new contract includes management of overseas shipment of finished goods and occasionally of raw materials, components and spare parts, both by sea and air transport. Additionally, Kuehne + Nagel will manage all vendors, suppliers and receivers. Candy Group will also make use of K+N’s information logistics system, KN Login, which enables customer to monitor activities, such as movement of containers, customs activities and inland deliveries, and to track IT orders.
