IDI Gazeley has announced that Quaker Sales & Distribution, a distributor of food products in the United States and a subsidiary of Pepsico, Inc., has signed a 382,664 sq ft lease in WorldConnect at Ameriplex Building 1 in Indianapolis.
WorldConnect at Ameriplex offers Quaker Sales & Distribution close proximity to their existing 1m sq ft presence in nearby facilities. The company will use the new space primarily for the storage and distribution of Gatorade products.
Doug Armbruster, Senior Vice President and Regional Director of IDI Gazeley’s East Region, said: “Quaker Sales & Distribution selected this building because of its optimal location and high-quality construction. Like all our properties, World Connect at Ameriplex 1 is built to the highest standards in the industry. Recent leasing in Indianapolis bodes well for our next project.”
The building is adjacent to the Indianapolis International Airport and offers tenants close proximity to distribution channels crucial to operational success.
IDI Gazeley is currently under construction on a 912,522 sq ft cross-dock facility within World Connect at Ameriplex. This will be IDI Gazeley’s third building in the park and their fourth constructed in the metro Indianapolis area since 2012.
