Hoyer and H&S form European liquid bulk joint venture


Hoyer and H&S Group have formed a joint venture in Germany which will see H&S acquire a 51% stake in Hoyer’s German Foodlog activities, the liquid food division of Hoyer.

The joint venture will be known as H&H Foodlog as of November 1, 2017. It will be based in Neuss. Outside Germany, H&S Foodtrans and Hoyer’s Foodlog divisions will continue to operate from existing offices.

It is claimed that the joint venture will be among the top three LSPs in the European liquid bulk market, with revenues of €175m and 350 employees. Its assets include 1,600 specialised liquid bulk containers, 175 food tankers and 200 trucks.
