According to OECD data, the EU (28) recorded seasonally adjusted real GDP growth of 0.4% in the third quarter of 2015 (compared to the second quarter of the year). The figure was just shy of the 0.5% growth recorded in the second quarter of the year.

The US experienced economic growth of 0.5% in the third quarter, down from 1.0% in the second quarter.

India had growth of 1.9% in the third quarter, up from 1.7% in the second quarter.

In Japan, third quarter growth was 0.3%, up from -0.1% in Q2 2015.

China’s economy expanded by 1.8% in the third quarter of 2015, matching its performance of the previous quarter.

Note: All GDP growth rates are ‘real’ (constant price) and have been seasonally adjusted. Each growth rate measures GDP growth compared to the previous quarter. The OECD does not have data prior to Q1 2011 for China.
