Ekol Logistics has expanded its network in Spain with the opening of new branches in Lerida and Valencia, increasing the company’s presence in the country to five offices. Ekol Logistics announced the opening of two additional offices in the next few months.
The company added Spain into its network in 2014 in order to offer access to intermodal solutions.
Ekol Spain executed more than 100,000 groupage shipments in 2016 and is on its way to reach 200,000 in 2017.
Ekol Spain also provides contract logistics services as well as other types of transportation services to Spanish companies from various sectors including automotive, industry, health and textile using cross-docking facilities in Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza, Lerida and Valencia.
The Turkish logistics provider recently announced that it is ready to introduce “Logistics 4.0” in all countries in which it operates in order to offer more integrated, interconnected and innovating solutions.
