DSV Air & Sea USA has completed the office and IT integration of the former UTi Freight Forwarding division. The division now has over 1,000 employees working across 36 offices in 18 different states and Puerto Rico.
In addition, DSV stated that DSV Road USA and DSV Solutions USA “have been added to our US organization – headed by President Jacques Retief and President Michael Marlow respectively.”
All customers have been transferred to the DSV Transport Management System, CargoWise One.
The company also noted that in the US, the acquisition of UTi has expanded its client base in the automotive sector and added the healthcare sector to its range of verticals served. Furthermore, it asserted that it has boosted US-Mexico cross-border business, an encouraging development particularly for its automotive business.
