Clipper Logistics appoints new Chief Operating Officer

Clipper Logistics has appointed Emma Dempsey as the new Chief Operating Officer. Dempsey has over 20 years’ experience working in supply chain and prior to joining Clipper held roles at Accenture, Marks & Spencer & Unipart.

As Chief Operating Officer, Dempsey will be responsible for customer operations, projects, IT delivery, quality implementation and the development of operational innovation. Clipper Logistics stated that Dempsey’s previous roles in strategic consulting and retail logistics operations, and her vast experience in the industry perfectly position her for the new role.

On her appointment, Dempsey said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the Clipper team. They have a fantastic reputation, and the way that they focus on their customers is what makes them industry leaders and true innovators. I’m looking forward to putting my energy, knowledge and expertise towards the future success of the Clipper business.”
