Jan de Rijk Logistics has announced the acquisition of De Rooy Logistics. Based in the Netherlands, De Rooy Logistics specialises in transport, distribution and value added logistics for the spare parts & automotive industry.
According to the announcement, De Rooy Logistics is a strategic fit which is expected to allow Jan de Rijk Logistics to further expand its current services for the automotive industry.
Prior to the acquisition Jan de Rijk Logistics had 28 offices in 13 countries and employed 1,200 staff in Europe.
