According to a recent SEC filing from XPO Logistics, Troy Cooper has been named as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the management board of XPO Logistics’ Europe division effective immediately.
Prior to joining the Company in 2011, Cooper held senior management roles with United Rentals, Inc. and United Waste Systems, Inc., and earlier with Arthur Andersen and Co.
Cooper replaces Herve Montjotin who was previously employed in senior roles at Norbert Dentressangle prior to its acquisition by XPO Logistics.
Cooper will continue in his existing role as Chief Operating Officer of the Company’s global organization.
