CEVA Logistics announced that Arjan Kaaks has been appointed as its Chief Financial Officer. CEVA’s current Chief Financial Officer, Rubin McDougal, plans to retire but will remain with the company to facilitate the transition to the new CFO.
Kaaks joins CEVA from Maxeda DIY Group, a Benelux private equity-owned company focused on the do-it-yourself retail market, where he was Chief Financial Officer and a member of the company’s executive board. His prior experience includes Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of O’Neill Group, a sports lifestyle brand, and Chief Financial Officer of Royal Grolsch, a brewing company based in Holland. Kaaks worked in various finance positions, including supply chain, at global consumer company Unilever over a 12 year period.
Kaaks stated, “The company has started to execute its renewed strategy and progress is becoming visible. We have a strong foundation to build upon as we continue our focus on driving sustainable topline growth and productivity improvements. I am thrilled to join CEVA’s community and leadership team, and to work together to achieve our ambitions.”
