Deliv, a crowdsourced, last mile logistics provider, announced a service expansion from nine existing US cities to an additional eight, bringing its same day delivery capability to 17 markets comprised of more than 100 cities across the country.
Daphne Carmeli, CEO of Deliv, commented, “Today’s consumers want the convenience of picking exactly when their packages will arrive – not sometime in the next two to five days or sometime before 8:00 pm. It’s no surprise we’ve experienced an organic growth increase of 800% in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year,”
In addition to the nine existing markets; Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Northern New Jersey, San Francisco and the broader Bay Area, Seattle and Washington, D.C., new markets are due to launch through the end of August to early October 2015 and will cover; Atlanta, Boston/ Cambridge, Dallas/ Fort Worth, Honolulu, Las Vegas, Miami/ Fort Lauderdale, the New York City metro area, Orange County and Philadelphia.
In addition to same day delivery, Deliv also announced a returns offering for the retailers Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and the Bay Area.
