Kuehne + Nagel has finalized the agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of ReTrans Inc., announced in June 2015. ReTrans is a US based non-asset brokerage intermodal provider with revenues exceeding $500m.
Commenting on the deal John Hextall, Kuehne + Nagel’s President & CEO, North America said, “We are excited at the prospects of integrating ReTrans into our North America region (Canada, USA and Mexico). The capabilities and service offerings of ReTrans will complement our existing business portfolio in Sea freight, Air freight, Contract Logistics and Overland. Our customers will enjoy a broader range of domestic services to enable end-to-end transportation and supply chain solutions.
