Yusen Logistics Benelux announced that it has expanded its long-term contract with Xerox, a manufacturer of office printing equipment and provider of document management services, to provide a range of logistics services in Belgium and Luxembourg.
As part of the new contract, Yusen Logistics will now provide warehousing, pre-assembly, transport preparation and ‘copy-ready’ delivery services for Xerox document management devices, including copying, printing and multifunctional equipment. These services, as well as administration, order processing, customer liaison and transportation planning will take place at the Yusen Logistics site in Herentals, Belgium.
The contract expansion will see up to 15 Yusen Logistics trucks delivering Xerox machines to end users every day. The Yusen delivery crews will place and install each machine at a customer’s desired location; delivering it fully connected and operational.
