Goodman signs new lease with Agility at Senec Logistics Centre in Slovakia

Goodman has signed a five year lease agreement with Agility Logistics for a 4,400 sq m logistics facility located at Goodman Senec Logistics Centre in Slovakia. Agility occupies part of a 10,000 sq m facility being developed on a semi-speculative basis. The new building at the logistics centre has added to the existing 46,000 sq m of warehouse and office space in Senec currently managed by Goodman on behalf of the Goodman European Logistics Fund.

Agility stated that it selected Goodman for Senec’s prime location and modern design as well as Goodman’s attention to the customer’s needs. For example, Agility will use 3,900 sq m of the facility for the warehousing of ambient storage and dangerous ADR material, for which Goodman facilitated the design, permit and technical requirements. The remaining 500 sq m of the facility will be used as office and social space. Goodman additionally offers Agility other areas of the site for the future expansion to fulfil the needs of existing and future clients.

“We were in the market for a new, modern facility for our operations in Slovakia, with a more central location and the possibility for expansion as our business grows. The Goodman Senec Logistics Centre perfectly matched our requirements and Goodman expertly met our specific storage needs,” said Pietro Albarelli, Managing Director Area South at Agility Europe.

Goodman Senec Logistics Centre is located 19 km from Bratislava airport. It is easily accessible from the D1 highway connecting Bratislava, Trnava and logistics hubs in Poland. “Goodman’s logistics centre in Senec is well positioned to capitalize on strong market demand for logistics real estate in the Bratislava region, which is characterized by a low vacancy rate. As the centre is designed to meet specific market dynamics for small and medium size facilities, we anticipate continued positive growth,” said Jan Palek, Goodman Country Manager the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
