UTi Worldwide announced that its Frankfurt, Germany, office has relocated within Cargo City South to a facility that serves the growing needs of its air freight forwarding clients, particularly those in the pharmaceutical industry.
The new, energy-efficient facility includes 3,000 sq m of office space, 6,700 sq m of warehouse space, 10 truck docks, 10 ft and 20 ft roller beds, and a 6 m by 4 m ramp for direct goods delivery. The cross-dock warehouse operates 24/7 and follows set security standards. The facility will also be equipped with cold-chain features such as -20°C, 2-8°C, and 15-25°C active temperature-controlled sections with 265 pallet bay capacity meeting pharmaceutical good distribution practices standards.
