TNT has announced that it is upgrading its fleet of vehicles to improve services for customers and drive operational efficiency. In 2015 the company plans to take delivery of 330 trucks, 300 new long-haul trailers, 200 new tractor units and 86 smaller Sprinter vans.
Marianne Culver, Managing Director TNT UK (Domestic) said, “We are expanding and upgrading our fleet to increase our capacity and provide even better services for our customers, offering them increased flexibility and reliability and ensuring we can continue to consistently deliver the high standards of service for which we are proud to be known.”
TNT has ordered some of the new vehicles from Cartwright, a UK manufacturer of commercial vehicle bodies and trailers.
