Clipper Logistics announced that it has agreed heads of terms with The John Lewis Partnership, a UK-based retailer of consumer goods, to provide a range of retail support services from a new distribution centre. The proposed agreement would run for a 10 year period.
The new distribution centre would be located in Milton Keynes, UK, and is expected to provide in excess of 300,000 sq ft of capacity.
Clipper Logistics is in the process of selecting the final location for the operation. Initial activity will commence in mid-2016 to support John Lewis’ new distribution centre in Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
