DHL Express invests in Philippines facility


DHL Express announced that it has invested €594,308 in a new 1,000 sq m DHL Express facility in Clark, the Philippines. The facility is designed to expand the company’s network and cater to the growing logistics demands of the region.

“We see Clark as the future international gateway for the Philippines,” said Yasmin Aladad Khan, Senior Vice President for South East Asia & South Asia, DHL Express. “Its existing infrastructure makes it a perfect hub for trade and commerce. The opening of our service centre in Clark reinforces our commitment to strengthen the logistics capabilities in the area.”

The Clark service centre facility is the first investment of DHL Express in the Philippines in 2015; with other plans following for the year, including expansion in provinces and cities such as Vismin, Calabarzon and North Luzon.
