Linfox appoints CEO for Australia and New Zealand

Linfox announced that its General Counsel and Company Secretary Annette Carey has been appointed CEO of Linfox Logistics for Australia and New Zealand. Annette Carey has been Acting CEO of Linfox Logistics since September 2014.

The company’s Chairman, Peter Fox said, “Annette has played a significant role in the business, guiding our growth and future positioning and has overwhelmingly demonstrated sound judgement, clear business leadership and sound commercial acumen.”

Annette joined Linfox in 2001. In 2009, Annette was appointed President Legal and later, General Counsel and Company Secretary. Fox said it is extremely pleasing to appoint an internal candidate to this important position of leadership for the company. “The pace of change and the opportunities for our business are surging ahead. We’re confident that as a privately owned company our strong foot print across the Asia Pacific and depth of supply chain experience is difficult to match,” he said.
